Expressing Feeling among the natural disasters
How we built it
1) We built this website using mostly HTML and some CSS programs. 2) We wrote our HTML code in notepad. 3) Using Github and Amazon Web Service (AWS).
Challenges we ran into
1) We ran into some HTML source code. 2) Coding in HTML, CSS and Java script with little knowledge prior to starting. 3) Creating a web server for our website. 4) Using notepad to write our code. 5) Having a server to collect and save data collected from users who submitted their post on our website. Also to be able to submit their post on another page on our website called "Public Post" for other people to read when they visit our website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
1) We were able to get the website up and running using GitHub resources and AWS Services. 2) Creating the website from scratch using manly HTML and CSS. 3) Designing the web pages.
What we learned
1) What it takes to build a website. 2)We learned a lot about HTML and CSS programming.
What's next for SafeSpace
What we have now is not fully developed but we want to expand this idea to a much bigger picture where people who feel comfortable enough to share their feelings.
