Inspiration

SaferCuse

Inspiration

The inspiration behind SaferCuse came from the need to enhance public safety in the Syracuse community. With crime rates rising and a growing concern for personal security, I wanted to create a solution that could empower individuals to quickly and effectively reach out for help during emergencies. I was particularly inspired by the concept of blue lights around the city and thought, "Why not bring that same sense of security into people's hands?"

Implementing Low level protocols and finding a workaround for those protocols Realtime Streaming of Video and Audio

What's next for SaferCuse

1. Implementing Single Sign On for ease of access to staff and students
2. Authentication of Camera app, to prevent accidental touches and span videos being sent to DPS
3. Video Classification to check if a video is spam or genuine
