What it does

SafeNG is a web application that allows you to visit websites regardless of them being infected with malicious scripts, malware, or malicious advertisements, securely and view its contents. It displays the reputation score once you search any url, and then displays the website content according to the safety mode you chose. We have hosted out website on google cloud with domain safeng.online for anyone to view it.

Inspiration

Many functionalities can be added to the core module built during this hackathon:

• The application can check the deleted code for any malware or unwanted ads.
• The application can allow to provide the sections of the website separately: images, videos, text.

How we built it

We created a Python/Django web application that discards unwanted content, depending on the security level wanted by the client.
