Inspiration

Our team was inspired to create a more secure way for homeowners in residential communities to perform their common tasks such as reserving facilities, voting on important topics and the need to maintain privacy.

What it does

SafeHome is a platform that enables users to register, book facilities, and vote on important topics in their community. Our app uses blockchain to protect user data, keeping it secure and tamper-proof.

How we built it

SafeHome is built by using blockchain and smart contracts as its backend, and frontend web development frameworks React.

Challenges we ran into

Our team find it challenging at first as all of our teammates are relatively new to smart contract and blockchain development. Hence, we encounter problems such as integrating the frontend and the backend. However, with our eagerness to be willing and develop new skills and through a lot of discussions among our teammates, we are able to overcome the challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully implemented blockchain technology to provide an innovative solution that ensures the privacy and security of users' data. Additionally, we designed the platform to be user-friendly

What we learned

We acquired a deeper understanding of blockchain technology and smart contract development, and learned how to apply this knowledge to real-world use case.

What's next for SafeHome

Our next steps involve enhancing the platform's functionality by adopting new technology to provide additional features that benefit both homeowners and communities.
