Inspiration

As people, we want a free, safe and welcoming environment to live, work, learn and thrive. Technology has the potential in our nation, Nigeria, to help improve security and provide a safe society. To that end, we agree that now is the time to use technology for good, to be tech proud, and to use technology to keep us safe.

What it does

The SafeHaven app is a cross-platform application(USSD, Web and Mobile) that enables citizens of the society especially potential victims, victims or third party persons to report cases of crime, rape or any form of abuse to authorized personnel and seek help in the quickest way possible.

How I built it

SafeHaven was built using Nodejs at the server-side and HTML , CSS and Vanilajs on the client-side.

• INFO HUB This feature will give information about security events in a chosen area of a user
• ENVIRON FINDER This feature will be useful for real estates business and individuals searching for a secure environment to purchase.
