Inspiration

Safety of women matters a lot whether at home, outside the home or at a college campus. Some of the most common crimes against women occur on university and schools. We believe that we can help students as well as parents while selecting a university campus of their choice which is safe and secure. Campus Safety responds to the needs of victims experiencing violence on campus by providing them insights into the community aimed at reducing the assaults.

What it does

It provides platform to the victims of sexual assault to share their tragedy and a platform to speak up

How we built it

We built it using HTML , WIX , CSS , JAVASCRIPT

Challenges we ran into

Creating a web application and getting data from various users. The second challenge was to analyze the data and create a pie chart for the data

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of building an application where sexual assault victims can speak up freely for their rights.

What we learned

We have learned the ways to improve safety of women on campuses and ways to make campuses across the world more secure.

What's next for SafeCampus

Creating awareness of this web application across different campuses across the world
