SafeCA is a one stop app for analyzing the crime safety at any location in Canada.

It has 2 primary functionalities at a given location in Canada

• SAFETY METER
• TEXT ALERTS

SAFETY METER

The app consists of a simple dash that always gives you the updated graph crimes at any geo-location.

• The first meter always shows the safety on a general scale analyzing safety by intelligently computing the overall crime statistic for the location.

• The second meter portrays a detail crime share categorized by types queries using data obtained from Alberta's Open Data portal

TEXT ALERTS

The app also consists of a smart text alert updates feature that can be enabled by the user on the dash. All it needs is a valid phone number to start receive updates when there are alerts to be sent

CLOUD

The data for this app is hosted an open cloud and can be accesses at convenience. It mainly serves as the backend for the app providing location accurate data for every user and also managing text alerts.
