Inspiration
What inspired us to do our project was the intention to generate something innovative to help improve the lives of people making use of information technologies, as we realize that car accidents are a major cause of death in Mexico
What it does
The basic function of our application is to detect high impact accidents generating an alert for the services required to care in the shortest possible response time
How we built it
The application was made in the Xcode environment using Swift language
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we had was the development of the application through the Swift programming language, since it had to be learned from scratch. Another challenge that the team had was to devise a way to generate an alert as quickly as possible when having an emergency.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The team is proud of the result obtained, since in less than 28 hours could be generated an executable application and ready to show the client
What we learned
We learned to work as a team, a new programming language and new challenges
What's next for Safe Wheels
Obtain the investment for the development of the project and implement in the different platforms of mobile devices
