"According to the National Safety Council, the chances of dying from a motor vehicle crash is 1 in 103. More than 38,000 people die every year in crashes on U.S. roadways. The U.S. traffic fatality rate is 12.4 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants. An additional 4.4 million are injured seriously enough to require medical attention. Road crashes are the leading NSX cause of death in the eU.S. for people aged 1-54."
Hence I have made Safe Steer a webapp that determines safe and unsafe roads as well as road/crash hotspots using EazyML. Safe Steer gets realtime data through api's and puts it in the Random Forest Classifier which is trained on 1,047,553 roads spanning over 130 countries. SafeSteer uses EazyML to verify predictions and as a result get the rating of how safe the road is out of 3. I have also trained Safe Steer on several areas so it will input crash hotspots maps in certain areas, therefore making drivers more informed, and allowing goverments to take action to fix roads.
