Inspiration 🧠

With people becoming more immersed in social media 📱, we decided to create a website that promotes healthy social media use for teens.

What it does 😊

🪐Safe Space 🪐 is an educational website designed to encourage healthy relationships between people and their ✨online environment✨. Here, you can have a fun time discovering and interacting with facts about social media consumption with alien 👽 and astronaut 🤖 friends! Users can test their knowledge about social media versus reality with a fun quiz 👾 in the 'Editing and Filters' tab, use the 'Positive Interactions' tab to learn ways to make their experience with social media more positive 😇 while reducing pressure and negativity 😡, and improve their overall health and peace of mind 🤩 in the 'Life Outside of Social Media' tab, where they can stay focused 😎 on whatever task they need with the Pomodoro timer ⏱.

How we built it 💻

We built the website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on a platform called glitch.com, which allowed all members of the group to collaborate on the project and edit the code simultaneously. One of our team members drew all of the website's illustrations using Procreate.
