Inspiration: To create a safe space for women anywhere with a location sharing mobile application.

What it does: Allows you to share your location and contact your loved ones.

How we built it: We used Android Studio, Java, Kotlin, and HTML/CSS.

Challenges we ran into: our teammates computer froze and we lost some of our work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: To be able to adapt and move on.

What we learned: Things don't go as planned but it is better to hop on plan B.

What's next for Safe Space: We may add new self defense techniques.

I worked on creating the login and register pages for the application with my twin, Swagi Desai. We used Kotlin and Java in Android Studio to create and style the pages. I created the application logo in Microsoft Paint. This is my first hackathon, and I really learned a lot.

I worked on the login and register pages for the application with my sister, Swara Desai. We used Android Studio, Java, and Kotlin to write the code and create the UI for these pages for our app. I created a presentation using google slides and uploaded the group video via Vimeo.

This was my first hackathon and I really learned a lot from the experience.
