Safe Route

As a person who primarily walks around DC at various hours of the day and night, the number one concern of those who care about me is my personal safety when making my way across town. The main problem is figuring out which parts of DC I should try to avoid when walking around alone. Where am I more at risk?

Using the thousands of entries in the crime report that I found on data.octo.dc.gov, I was able to create a site that shows people what crimes occur most along their routes, and help them to make better decisions about how to move about the city.
