Inspiration

Thanks for Reviewing my App. I always wanted to do something that will improve the Road travel Experience in Indore and Help saves lives lost in road accidents. This competition gave an inspiration to Reduce Accidents and increase awareness towards Road Safety.

What it does

My Safe Indore has been built to help the pedestrians, bicyclists, and motor vehicles in Indore in order to promote their safety. My App is capable to perform following functionality:

Signals : Signal will help people to find traffic signals in their area. It will help user to manage the time and it can reduce the delay and save time to be wasted.

Live Route Alerts : Its time to know whatever that is happening within Indore regarding Road events with periodic update status,photos. With this, you can always know the road situation before you start driving....As an example, If I am going though any Route and I stuck in traffic so I can notify other people by submitting live alerts. Also we can find the list of issue from this tab.

Save Life Alerts : If someone found any accident case on Road, They can submit information and inform people to save their lives.

Alert by Administrator : Admin can enter details of any construction work, Diversions. User can find the details. For any proposed changes in the traffic plan in your locality, one can send their opinions and suggestions online.

Real Time Traffic : It shows your current location on map. or plan your driving route with less traffic areas.You can find your Nearby Traffic status using Map.

AICTSL Bus Routes : Now a day, Public transport is safe way to travel. We have provided Bus Number Details with their Routes.

How to Drive : Driving Instructions to avoid Accidents.

Traffic Rules : List of traffic Rules, for better understanding.

Speed Monitor : Speed Monitor tool helps parents to monitor their children location and the vehicle driving speed. App will be triggered email and notification to parents if driving speed is more then 80km/hour.

How I built it

I have used my Experience, as I am a student I know how it feels when stuck in traffic when returing home and if someone had an accident. that’s the reason to improve awareness of people towards Safety, I have created this App.

Challenges I ran into

Challenge for me to implement Google Map for Traffic signals.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

With high number of accidents reported in the city of Indore, it was time to look into the problems and make it visible and reward positive behavior. Safe Indore App helps people to report and help each other to improve travel Experience.

What I learned

After Searching may ideas and gone through the details, I came to know that for safest ride, we need to use public transport. It will help to control Traffic in city and number of vehicles can be reduced and it will support climate conditions also.
