Inspiration
Harassment and Assault had become a new normal for us. I built this app aiming that it would help society to be aware of what's happening around the world. And help to help them who are in danger and hopefully save them from life threating situation
What it does
It shows the view of where the crimes are happening. It Helps to deploy SOS message when the need it most. I record the video of the event. It helps people to know about dangerous situation and makes them aware of Mental health issue etc
How I built it
I built is using android studio (Java), PHP, SQL, HTML5, WEBRTC.
Challenges I ran into
Getting Login page set up.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I was able to make the basic version of the app
What I learned
I learned so much, learned about laravel, about advance usage of android api etc
What's next for Safe Haven
I would continue the development and will launch it to google play very soon
