What it does

This app gears towards tourists travelling and provides safety information to the user specifying the metrics of the user's car safety, possession safety, and personal safety when a location is put into the search bar.

How we built it

XML, Kotlin. Retrofit & OkHttp3. Utilized Android Studio. FBI Crime API. Google Maps API using Google Cloud. Adobe XD.

Challenges we ran into

Developing the Algorithm in Kotlin. Programming the frontend in XML. Formatting the data into SQLite. Time constraints.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got to implement a lot of the ideas we planned from the start. The UI. The reverse geolocation service.
