Inspiration
The inspiration for this is quite simple: many people live below the required means. Therefore, it is hard to afford private health care or certain food for basic needs. This is where Impilo Talk comes in, it will encourage and educate you on taking care of yourself and your family, and health practitioners will teach you about planting healthy food for yourself and your family.
What it does
The application will allow you to have virtual consultations with your doctor, it will also help you set the appointment for the consultation. It will also show you the nearest hospital if you require more help.
How we built it
I plan on using a few languages because several stages to be implemented for the application require different tools. For example : 1.User Configuration 2.Quick Activation 3. Location Finding
Challenges we ran into
There were many challenges with this application because the api has to send the appointment to the clinic or hospital desired. The Doctor has to approve the appointment for the application to actually work
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I have figured out most of the things that will get the application to work. I need to do some more work on a few backend tools.
What we learned
I have learned not to skip any step of anything and that research is the biggest best friend anyone can have.
What's next for Impilo Talk
Building the application and educating people about it. Opening their hearts to how it can be beneficial to them.
