Saarthi is an AI powered public grievance platform

Saarthi is an AI powered public grievance and complaint management platform designed to make it easier for people to report civic and public service issues and track their resolution.

The idea is to allow citizens to submit complaints through a simple interface, while the system uses AI to understand the complaint, categorize it, identify the relevant department, and help prioritize it based on factors such as urgency and impact. The platform can also provide complaint tracking and status updates so users are not left without visibility after submitting an issue.

My contribution to Saarthi was focused on the technical side, including backend development, API integration, system architecture, AI integration, and connecting the different modules into a functional prototype. I worked on turning the concept into a working system that could realistically be extended into a larger civic technology platform.

In Saarthi, I contributed mainly to the backend development, AI integration, and overall system architecture. I worked on designing the application logic, building and integrating APIs, connecting the AI components with the backend, and making sure information could flow correctly between the user interface, AI layer, and grievance management system.

I also worked on features such as complaint processing, categorization, department routing, status tracking, and data handling. Along with development, I contributed to debugging, testing, integration, and deployment of the prototype.

My main role was to turn Saarthi’s concept into a functional AI powered system that could process citizen complaints, intelligently organize them, and support efficient grievance resolution.
