Inspiration
As a Team, we were aspired in building drones. That aspiration, excitement makes us research various cutting-edge technologies that can be a valuable asset for the military who has been saving our lives risking theirs. India, as a country, should be at the forefront of military tech.
What it does
Ours is a complete military surveillance system that collects valuable intel using multiple interconnected Unmanned Ariel vehicles and a Base monitoring system that checks for unauthorized personals and malicious activities. We are also developing a violence detection system.
How we are building it
The drone we are building are completely unmanned and comes with onboard computational power. We are implementing advanced image detection technology in our drone that can detect suspicious entry during both daytime and nighttime. To counter camouflage and for nighttime, we are using Thermal cameras to map out humans even in dense forests. Infrared cameras with facial recognition will be equipped on military bases for detecting unauthorized entry. Since our drone is multi-purpose, it can also be used for violence and malicious activity detection. All the data from these devices will be collected and stored in a central hub with blockchain technology for ensuring data security. We are implementing reinforcement learning with multiple drone connectivity support.
Challenges we are running into
Since most of the required hardware parts are expensive, we are facing a shortage of funds. Also, we don't have the computational and graphical power required to run such algorithms.
Accomplishments we wish to make
We wish to design and develop a complete, secure, professional-grade monitoring and surveillance system which should be cost-efficient, reliable, and scalable.
What are we learning
We are learning to integrate the various devices to the central hub and are learning blockchain to secure the data.
