Inspiration
We were inspired by the quote that no amount of knowledge goes a waste. SA7 was determined to contributed towards enhancing the nation's security and surveillance with the knowledge we hold, no matter how small, to make a difference.
What it does
The software-prototype or GUI that we have created incorporates AI, machine learning & computer vision techniques (together termed as ‘machine vision’) to guarantee the detection, distinguishment, identification, classification of objects and recognition, prediction, prevention, analysis of the events that are captured on the surveillance devices.
How we built it
We made of use of various python libraries and packages during the implementation of the proposed solution. Some online tools such as Google colaboratory came in handy for concurrent access of same files during the creation phase.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were new to various concepts involved in during the construction of the project, but we are proud that we gave in the fullest of our efforts to fulfill what we were committed to.
What we learned
We learned how artificial intelligence, in the near future, will be the all in all of various domains of science and technology. Here's what made us think so: Self-learning Capabilities, Event Recognition, Anomaly Detection, Prediction and Prevention, Proactive Security, Intelligent processing and Analysis, Decision Making, Low Power and Low Cost.
Participating in this hackathon made us familiarized with constructive criticism and the power of team work . The mentioned problems statements gave us an idea about the real-world problems that needs to be dealt with.
What's next for SA-7
SA7 is now to concentrate on the improvisations needs, if any, in-order to make full utilization of the created project prototype and be applied in real-time as solutions to real-world problems.
