Inspiration
An alternative method of tracking hyped items.
What it does
Allows users to track their current inventory by allowing them to add items.
How we built it
The project framework is NextJS (TS + React). Tailwindcss was utilized for styling. Prisma for ORM, Auth0 for user authentication, and CockRoachDB for storing user information.
Challenges we ran into
React Hooks, how combining them was a bit complex/difficult.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting access to StockX's API and filtering unnecessary information to reduce load/time.
What we learned
A deeper understanding of React and its hooks.
What's next for s-inv
Wishlist, notifications on price movements and sharing inventories/profiles with other users.
