Inspiration
It felt like every day a new, amazing AI model was launching. But keeping up was a nightmare! Creating accounts, managing subscriptions... it was overwhelming. I wanted a simpler way to explore and use all these incredible tools, so I decided to bring them all together in one place. That's how the idea for Ryddle was born.
What it does
Ryddle lets you access and try out loads of different AI models, all in one place.
How we built it
I used Python to build a backend that connects to different AI models. This backend handles all the tricky stuff like logging in and managing subscriptions. Then, I made a user-friendly app in Swift that talks to the backend and lets you use the AI models without any hassle.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest hurdle was getting all those different AI models to play nicely together. Each one had its own quirks and ways of doing things. I also wanted to make sure Ryddle was easy to use and let's not forget Apple's app review process.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I shipped my first iOS app! It was a tough journey, but I did it. Figuring out the structure and design was a challenge, but it was also incredibly rewarding. My friends are using it and they like it. I learned a ton about iOS and Swift.
What we learned
I gained a deep appreciation for the complexity of integrating diverse AI models. I learned the importance of balancing technical prowess with user-centric design.
What's next for Ryddle – Personalized AI Chat
I'm not stopping here! I am going to add new AI models and features to Ryddle continuously. I aim to make it even easier for everyone to find and use the perfect AI model according to their needs.
