Inspiration - We were inspired by the TreeHacks + Mental Health initiative!

What it does - An app that sends automatic text messages to students when their prescription is filled at Vaden Health Care.

How we built it - We built our app using MIT App Inventor.

Challenges we ran into - We began with a pretty complicated idea, but then had to switch project plans half-way through.

Accomplishments that we're proud of - Completing our first Hackathon!

What we learned - We learned that there are great resources that allow you to build pretty powerful things even with limited coding experience.

What's next for RxText - In the future, we plan to add a student companion app with features such as the ability to schedule follow-up appointments. It could also survey them on how they’re doing.
