-What is your chosen theme and problem statement? Environment, Question 1 In 2019, Singapore generated around 744 million kg of food waste. How can we tackle this growing problem and encourage Singaporeans to cut down on unnecessary food waste?

-What does your hack do? Through an interactive website, users can learn more about food waste and how they can play a part as individuals in combating food waste.

-How does your hack answer the problem statement? One of the reasons why the situation of food waste is so is that there is a lack of awareness on how individuals can combat food waste. Thus through our website, we hope to increase the public's awareness on food waste in a slightly more fun manner, focusing on individual actions.

-How did you built your hack? We used React web development, using codesandbox.

-What are some difficulties you overcame? How to use React and understanding how the code works and links to different jsx files. There were times when the code didn’t work or that we weren't sure how to use the “React language” to style the website in the way we wanted, so we had to quickly self-learn and be resourceful in finding the solutions. Big thanks to the workshop React Sample code because we reference a lot to it.

-What was your biggest learning point from LifeHack 2022? Be resourceful and patient when finding answers.
