Rust ATProto library and basic Bluesky posting client.

Team 28 - Rusty Muppet

Inspiration

I was interested in what i could make with bluesky's AT protocol and decided quickest way to do that was to make something at a hackathon

What it does

logs into bluesky and is able to make posts to the platform

How we built it

the entire thing was made in rust and the library uses reqwest, serde and chrono while the posting client was made in egui

Challenges we ran into

I had not made HTTP requests from rust before and had to learn them. and egui was being uncooperate

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I learned how reqwest and AT protocol works a lot better not

What's next for Rust ATProto library and basic Bluesky posting client.

Try to fully implement the AT protocol and extend into new lexicons
