Inspiration: Inspired by scrolling through Pinterest and wanting to know exactly where fashion accessories come from.
What it does: Runway is a social media app centered on fashion and beauty, fostering a community where users can share looks and source materials.
How we built it: Using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Firebase for a modern, scalable experience.
Challenges we faced: Designing a smooth UI and managing data storage for efficient retrieval.
Accomplishments: Proud of the intuitive and attractive UI/UX I crafted.
What we learned: Gained deeper expertise in TypeScript and component-driven development.
What’s next: Adding a favorites tab, building an algorithm to suggest posts, and enabling private messaging.
