RunFormance Build 6 — Strava Integration and Accessibility Polish
RunFormance has reached another important milestone.
Yesterday, I successfully connected my personal Strava account to the production app and imported activities through the new secure OAuth flow. Strava now supports:
- Secure server-side token exchange
- Encrypted credential handling
- Secure installation credentials stored on-device
- Deep-link return handling from Strava
- Connection status, Sync, and Disconnect actions
- Automatic recovery for expired installation credentials
Build 6 also includes a focused accessibility polish pass for the Midnight theme. Previously, several dark-background text elements were difficult to read. Those areas now use high-contrast foreground, muted-text, outline, and danger colors while preserving the existing card design and all other themes.
The native iOS app is now version 1.2.0, Build 6. It has been successfully uploaded to App Store Connect and is currently processing for TestFlight.
The production web app remains available at:
This release brings RunFormance closer to its goal of combining personalized training plans, recovery guidance, environmental conditions, and connected activity data in one practical running companion.
