Inspiration.
We were inspired by the pandemic's impact on women's businesses.
What it does.
The website allows users to find a woman business in their area.
How we built it.
We built it with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3 on Replit.
Challenges we ran into.
We had a few problems. There were some communication problems at the beginning but we managed to resolve them. Also, some people had limited time to do the project, so we had to work around that.
Accomplishments that we're proud of.
We are proud of the fact that we overcome timezone differences, we are proud that we managed to create a website with limited time and experience, and we are proud of our product.
What we learned.
The coders/web designers learned new coding skills and the designers learned new design skills. We also learned how to work with different time zones.
What's next for Run It Like A Girl.
We want to improve the website, add a map where people can drop a pin and then maybe turn it into an app.
