Inspiration
Our motivation for RUMoneyWize comes from wanting to make technology work for the betterment of society. We believe that smart financial decisions can have a lasting impact on a student's future, and we're committed to making that future brighter.
What it does
RUMoneyWize allows users to input and track their monthly expenses, providing a clear picture of where their money is going. RUMoneyWize sends alerts or notifications to users when they exceed their spending limits in specific expense categories, helping them stay within budget.
How we built it
We built it on Replit using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges that we faced was time management as we had so many ideas and so little time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully developing and launching RUMoneyWize is a significant accomplishment in itself. RUMoneyWize introduces innovative features or solutions to help college students manage their finances effectively
What we learned
We learned the fundamentals of web design. We also learned how to integrate UI/UX to our website.
What's next for RUMoneyWize
We strive to continuously improve and expand the features of RUMoneyWize based on user feedback and evolving financial trends. We are also considering adding new tools or functionalities that address emerging financial challenges for college students.
