Inspiration
We were inspired to create this project to help Jewish mothers navigate the stress and hassle of arranging carpools.
What it does
Rule the Pool presents the user with their designated carpool slot. It also provides contact information, addresses, and amount of children per household. Additionally, this website send the user to a third-party site which provides the optimal carpool route.
How we built it
Challenges we ran into
Due to the fact that we only learnt Python, HTML, and CSS, we felt very limited. Ideally, Rule the Pool requires databases. However, we do not have that knowledge yet. To compensate, we used a round-about way to achieve our goal.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have built our most complex project.
What we learned
We learned JavaScript as we coded our project.
What's next for Rule the Pool
Our next step is to incorporate databases, so each customer can enter information on his/her own device. We also want to create carpools based off user input.
