Ruby Budgeting

Inspiration

Our inspiration came from trying to help people manage their money better and have a budgeting plan that works best for them.

What it does

Ruby Budgeting is a website that asks the user questions regarding their finances and then Ruby Budgeting as a machine learning algorithm receives that data and based on its trained data set it outputs the users recommendation.

How we built

we built the algorithm using Python and for the front-end used HTML, CSS and JS.

Challenges we ran into.

The biggest challenges we ran into were integration, connecting the backend with the frontend.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're most proud of trying our best to finish the project and improve our coding skills under a short deadline.

What we learned

We learned how to create algorithms that train on a dataset and learn from our mistakes during the competition by trying not to miss little details that end up becoming larger as we go on.
