The inspiration for this project is that accumulation of garbage in our college. No one is taking an initiative for waste disposal cause they have no benefit of it. So we thought of a way in which the students who dispose the waste is rewarded.
On proper dispose of garbage a point is rewarded which can be used to purchase items from college store or canteen thereby ensuring proper waste disposal.
Using the barcode on the product, barcode which is pasted on the waste bin and an web application that can be used to map the user with the product for the reward and purposes.
Waste bin design was a major issue due to the cost scenarios. Connectivity was also a main issue.
Web application was developed successfully and also this idea was appreciated.

Currently this project focus on institution like college, office and companies. The future scope is that the government attains this project and implement this in public.
