The inspiration for RTF PunchCards comes from the exciting world of boxing combined with the innovative technology of NFTs. We wanted to create a strategic and entertaining game where players can leverage their unique NFT fighters in a dynamic and engaging boxing experience..
What it does
RTF PunchCards is a web3 boxing game where players own and use NFT fighters to compete in matches. Each NFT fighter has unique moves and abilities, allowing for a personalized and strategic gameplay experience. Players pay a small RTF fee to participate in matches and stand to win double the amount if they are victorious. Matches consist of five rounds, during which players choose three moves per round to inflict damage on their opponent's body parts, which have different point weightages. The player's score is calculated based on the points from the damage dealt to the opponent's body parts.
How we built it
We built RTF PunchCards using blockchain technology to ensure secure ownership and trading of NFT fighters. The game is deployed on the RTF network, providing a smooth and efficient gaming experience. Our team of developers designed the game mechanics to allow for strategic choices and varied gameplay, while the NFT integration offers players a unique and customizable gaming experience.
Challenges we ran into One challenge we faced was balancing the gameplay to ensure fair competition and strategic depth. We wanted to make sure that the game remains enjoyable for both new and experienced players. Integrating NFTs in a way that enhances the game without creating pay-to-win scenarios was another hurdle. Additionally, ensuring smooth and secure transactions on the RTF network required meticulous attention to detail.
