In Jamaica, access to mental health resources remains a significant challenge due to limited availability, high costs, and social stigma. With Amie, we aim to provide our users with a personalized confidant that is accessible, affordable, and available from the comfort and privacy of their own devices. While our initial focus is on addressing Jamaica’s mental health resource constraints, our long-term vision is to expand globally, ensuring that mental health support is within reach for everyone, regardless of location or circumstance. Additionally, as time goes on, we plan to implement the following improvements (but not limited to): 1 Scaling Enhancements – Transitioning from horizontal scaling to auto-scaling to adjust resources based on demand dynamically. 2 Security Upgrades – Strengthening security measures to protect user data and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations. 3 Student-Centric Access – Since our target audience is students aged 13-25, and we intend to partner with schools to provide them with our resources, a key credential for logging in will be their school email or ID number.

This version improves readability, removes redundancy, and refines the structure.
