Inspiration

Finding Whitelist (WL) opportunities to mint exclusive NFT collections is the holy grail for every NFT enthusiast. The NFT alpha group space is fragmented and difficult to navigate. Users struggle to find legitimate, high-quality communities hidden in private Discords for newcomers. Even experienced collectors, in several alpha groups often miss out on other valuable communities simply because they don't know they exist. This creates a major gap in the ecosystem - one that we aim to solve by building a centralized discovery platform that connects users with legitimate, high-value NFT alpha communities.

What it does

AlphaTrack is a centralized hub that aggregates and curates NFT alpha communities, that connects users with verified founders and communities. Users can browse curated alpha groups, view performance metrics, read founder profiles, and save their favourites. Easily decide which groups to join or follow based on their track record and value proposition.

How we built it

Started with Bolt as initial structure and with help of editor cursor. Built it through prompt engineering by documenting the whole plan in markdown files, divided into phases and steps, then executing them. Used Supabase for database management and Netlify for deployment. Tech Stack:

  • Frontend: React with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, React Router
  • Backend: Supabase for database, authentication, and real-time features
  • Deployment: Netlify with SPA routing configuration
  • Database: PostgreSQL with Row Level Security (RLS) policies

Challenges we ran into

  • Authentication redirecting to localhost in production
  • Infinite re-renders issues
  • Environment variable dependencies across different integrations
  • Database RLS Policies: Implementing proper Row Level Security for user favorites

  • Complete OAuth Integration: Secure Google OAuth with proper redirect handling
  • Favourites System: Robust user favourites feature with proper database relationships
  • Enable social logins: Login through X/Discord
  • Production-Ready Deployment: Seamless deployment on Netlify
  • Real-time Data: Efficient and live data fetching using supabase as database management
  • Got better at prompt engineering
