Inspiration
- consumer analysis conclusions proving that apps such as Shazam and other music-identifiers don't provide services to match certain human sounds to piano pitches
- lack of services for replicating natural noises to those of piano keys
- add applications to our pre-built audio visualizer
What it does
Using an audio recording of your attempt at singing or humming a tune, our program will:
- Print a sequence of piano notes
- Play the sequence of piano notes most similar to the original recording. ## How we built it
Challenges we ran into
Our team was relatively inexperienced with coding so first things first we had learn how to use the library called lebrosa, but in midlle of using it we learnt that it wasnt very accurate and hard to use. So we had to switch over to pydub.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
What we learned
What's next for Composing Code to Compose Music
- use machine learning to match certain key phrases or musical notes (hummed) with songs in databases
Built With
- google-colaboratory
- librosa
- python
- visual-studio
