We were inspired by the sheer chaos and humor of internet culture—memes, slang, and absurd trends that take over timelines. RotBot is our way of celebrating this culture by amplifying it to the max.

What it does

RotBot takes user input and transforms it into “brain rot” text. It incorporates Gen Z/Alpha slang, emojis, chaotic pop culture references, and internet humor to create a unique, over-the-top rephrasing of the original message. The bot strictly avoids answering questions or providing serious responses—its sole purpose is to embrace chaos.

How we built it

RotBot is powered by OpenAI’s GPT API, wrapped in a Node.js and Express backend. We crafted a specialized prompt to ensure that the bot consistently generates chaotic and entertaining outputs. Input validation and safeguards are implemented to maintain its focus and prevent misuse.
