A bedsore is an injury to the skin and underlying tissue resulting from prolonged pressure on the skin. It has four stages. The fourth stage can lead to Lifethreading infection. Bedsore can be extremely painful. Hence, the idea of this project is to prevent, detect and treat bedsores. Fibers are extracted from Roselle and banana stem. The bed with Sensing Element senses the pressure, according to which the bed gets adjusted automatically. Above the bed, the disposable layer is made up of Roselle fiber and banana fiber which has two segments of cloth and one segment of cellulose fiber with antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, which is a spacer fabric. We also use the detachable vibrating unit to reduce the accumulation of fluid. Anion chip is used to reduce the multiplication of bacteria and viruses. The advantage of the project is a natural fiber with anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties which is less risky compared to nerve stimulations and is also effective because this project covers prevention, treatment, and detection. Injury to skin and underlying tissue resulting from prolonged pressure on the skin is known as a pressure ulcer. People most at risk are those with a condition that limits their ability to change positions.
