Inspiration

This one was special: I dropped the entire Video on my Birthday in July as a personal milestone. I really wanted to leap past my backlog and release my most invested work to date. Sort of built as a counterpoint to my "All Me" Project. If that one cracked the door to technical writing, Rorschach kicks it wide open so to speak. The Lyrics where at that point in time the best thing I've ever written myself. The themes where: perception, overthinking, digital noise, mental health, the frustration of being a new creator in a doom-scroll culture. I wanted to embrace the chaos in my mind and make the lyrics and the video later on into a literal Rorschach test for me and the listener.

I set my goal on a visual symbolism. Three faces of authorship and identity that all are me , but different factettes. Aidan Yagu mask with the vertical line = the hybrid you are meant to see, the public me in a way...the artist you see on all my visuals. Blank white mask = A Symbol for the AI alone, a neutral canvas awaiting direction. Glimpses of facial features = me, the human underneath it all.

What it does

The song itself is a dense lyrical essay about meaning under noise, asking the viewer to “see what you see in the ink.” The video mirrors that mental storm: rapid perspective shifts, smoggy atmosphere, fractured moments, aggressive rhythm cuts, and some repeating motifs. It invites interpretation because of the chaos. Anxiety, ambition, your own reflection — all valid reads.

How we built it

Lyrics Written over weeks and weeks after finishing "All Me". The idea was building on that writing style and enhance it to tell 2 distinct storys in one song. The mental labyrinth i cant seem to escape, and the artists perspective of the outside (once you defeat your own chaos , the chaos outside awaits).
Now for the Video, my strategy was the opposite of the previous one-shot. I generated hundreds of Sora iterations, i tried to really make it hallucinate on purpose. All from a single picture i generated through Fluxat one point. Then go ahead and curated aggressively. So yes, I intentionally leaned into Sora’s stochastic variation: different scenes, animation styles, black and white coloring, and motions. The base picture anchors the visual language: again me the hooded silhouette with the vertical line, blank mask variant, partial-face reveals Assembly in DaVinci Resolve (free). Music locked first. Fast rhythm edits on bar, trying to find the right visuals for the right moment and make it consonantly hit.

Challenges we ran into

Cohesion from chaos. Hundreds of mismatched clips meant strict rejection criteria and motif-first sequencing. Attention economics. Designing sections that hook quickly without flattening the message. And in the end just how do you filter and by what criteria. Once you get so many good looking clips you get decision fatigue.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

My most ambitious, cohesive “controlled chaos” piece to date. A clear symbol language on screen that tracks the song’s argument about authorship and identity. A repeatable curation workflow for embracing Sora’s randomness while keeping a consistent world. Lyrics that balance density with meaning and stay true to my voice.

But most of all: I made an entire Video out of creative Sora1 Hallucinations!!!!!

What we learned

Chaos can be a tool if your going for certain aspects Sora can hallucinate 1000% more creative than any other model on the market, to this day! Curation is the authorship. Saying no 90 percent of the time creates a stronger 10 percent. Audience interpretation is a feature, not a bug. The inkblot frame invites deeper engagement. I love my character, I love my brand and I want to make music until i get old!

What's next for Rorschach

I would love to find a way to do something like this again if the material is right. but maybe in a different Style , in color... other than that its hard...again, not much reach on my YT. he project is mostly a closed one.
