RootNet AI is a nature-inspired smart irrigation system that mimics the underground communication network of plant roots and mycorrhizal fungi, often called the "Wood Wide Web." Just as plants share water, nutrients, and stress signals to support one another, RootNet AI uses AI, IoT sensors, and real-time environmental data to intelligently distribute water where it is needed most.

The system continuously monitors soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and weather conditions to predict irrigation needs and optimize water usage. By delivering the right amount of water to the right location at the right time, RootNet AI reduces water wastage, improves crop health, lowers energy consumption, and increases agricultural productivity.

Designed for sustainable farming, RootNet AI helps farmers conserve natural resources while building resilience against drought and climate change. By combining artificial intelligence with nature's proven strategies, the project demonstrates how plant-inspired innovation can create smarter and more sustainable agricultural solutions.
