Inspiration
Last Friday, tons of people met someone new. They met at a party, eating lunch, playing sports, videogames, among other situations. Some of those people just met their new best friend, their next business partner or even the love of their life. Chances are endless. Even though, this same Friday, tons more just stayed at home, ate lunch by themselves or just spent their free time watching series. Those were people who spent their day by themselves and could have met someone new instead, ate lunch together or practice some sport. Our goal is to help people meet their new friend/partner/love by taking advantage of this free time.
What it does
We help people match their activities and plans.
How we built it
We used Django, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and SQL.
Challenges we ran into
Our biggest challenge was front-end with back-end.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Integrating front-end and back-end into a functional site.
What we learned
We learned how to work as a team and colaborate with each other to achieve milestones in a delimited time-box.
What's next for Rooleet
Expanding to other universities and cities.
