Inspiration
Our inspiration for making Roogle was that we were looking for rooms during the hackathon but we couldn't find a room so we decided to make a website that will show us all of the available rooms that we can use to study.
What it does
Basically what Roogle does is that Roogle will find all of the room in UTD that is available and will give us a list of room and the location of the room
How we built it
We built Roogle by using Html, CSS, Javascript, React, and the Nebula API. We used the Nebula API so that we can grab the classroom and the time
Challenges we ran into
Designing the website and getting the API to work
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to semi-accomplish our initial goal for this project.
What we learned
We learned that working in a time-intensive situation allows us to understand our weaknesses. Working in a team also allowed us to face many new challenges that can be beneficial to our growth.
What's next for Roogle
The next stage for Roogle is to improve other functionalities that we could not finish due to the time restraint, but we would also love to know how students would react to this project and what their feedback would be.
