Inspriation

We were inspired by the challenge presented by Romax Digital to simplify the process of creating digital membership cards for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Many organizations still rely on physical cards or complicated onboarding processes, which can be costly and time-consuming. We wanted to create a solution that makes digital membership creation fast, intuitive, and accessible while improving the customer experience.

What it does

Our solution enables organizations to quickly create and visualize digital membership cards for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Users can enter their website URL to automatically generate a branded membership card, create custom card designs using AI prompts, or upload an existing card image to generate a similar design digital card while maintaining the same style and theme. This provides a fast, flexible, and user-friendly way to design digital membership passes without requiring technical or design expertise.

How we built it

We designed and developed a responsive web application using Next.js. We focused on creating a user-friendly interface that demonstrates the complete journey from website input to digital pass generation. Our work included user journey mapping, UI/UX design, prototyping, and frontend development. We also integrated AI capabilities that allow users to generate custom membership card designs through text prompts and create similar card designs from uploaded reference images. Additionally, we build how branding data could be extracted through crawler and presented dynamically to deliver a seamless and personalized user experience.

Challenges we ran into

To create a simple onboarding process that minimizes human labor and enables consumers to access their digital card right away.

Integrating online crawling and validation techniques to guarantee that the extracted data, accurately reflects the brand.

Making sure that the digital pass generated by AI is correct and meets the required standard.

Deciding the level of freedom AI should be given for creativity, to create the digital pass and making sure human stay in the feedback or creation loop.

Integration with Google and Apple wallete.

What we learned

Through this project, we gained valuable insights into digital wallet technologies, user-centered design, and rapid product development. We learned the importance of simplifying user experiences, conducting effective research, and working collaboratively under pressure. We also improved our skills in prototyping, frontend development, and presenting technical solutions to stakeholders.
