Inspiration
This blog was initiated by our involvement with the eLife challenge at HackTheMidlands 2017 and influenced by the content and thinking of a post from Cardiff University, Biomedical and life sciences department, population health aspirations.
While the department outlines high level academic aspirations, we explore how Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) grass roots groups that we work with could initiate, influence, implement and benefit from research activity.
We believe this could have benefits for both the academic and beneficiary communities
What it does
explore how Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) grass roots groups that we work with could initiate, influence, implement and benefit from research activity.
Challenges I ran into
Lack of awareness of comparative research
What's next for Role of VCS organisations in academic research
Will influence work of RnR Organisation over next 12 months, including pitching a session at UKHealthCamp 2017 unconference on digital, design, technology, & data for health and care Sept 30th https://twitter.com/ukhealthcamp
