Inspiration
We wanted to make a mobile game with React, Ionic, and and Node.js.
What it does
You control a pawn and try to capture the knights before they capture you.
How we built it
We used the Node Package Manager and Node.js to serve up HTML and JavaScript to the web browser to render a game with tiles and a player as well as enemies.
Enemies use pseudorandomness to generate their movements, and players move with WASD.
Challenges we ran into
We don't know how to use Ionic or React.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Aidan learned how to use swipe controls with Ionic and React
What we learned
We should have started the project in React
