Inspiration
We felt strongly about the concept of collaboration, so we knew that we wanted to do a collaboration feature. This inspired us to create a collaborative platform where users could remix their work with that of famous artists.
What it does
The website offers a wide variety of functions such as generating music using AI for inspiration to tuning your ukulele.
How we built it
We used the wix site builder in combination with html to create a strong foundational website. Then we used the Spotify databases to create an easy search tool for users. We also used APIs to help us with the AI model used to generate new songs.
Challenges we ran into
Getting familiar with a new software and implementing it pushed us out of our comfort zone. We were able to use it as a learning curve, and while there is room for improvement, we hope to use these skills to build a strong foundation in the future.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of being able to generate music using ai, which we can offer to our users for inspiration. We are also proud of being able to use the Spotify database to find tracks.
What we learned
We learnt how to collaborate in a time intensive setting and how to efficiently delegate tasks when faced with pressure.
What's next for Rocking with AI
We hope to make the platform such that users can interact with each other and find potential band members.
