Inspiration

I love building interactive web applications and I wanted to do something I have never done and which will challenge me, something that Is also possible to complete in 24 hours.

What it does

The 3 touch approach, the game allows for 2 players, to play the game player1 will press a button(first touch) the the system will randomly whether player1 is (rock, paper, scissors) and this will then be done by player2(second touch) after which both player have been assign values(rock/paper/scissor) then there will be a third button press(third touch) to determine the winner.

How we built it

I built it using vanilla JS as I believe it will allow me to focus on the basics and game functionality logic rather than adding unnecessary too much code, which can slow down game performance.

Challenges we ran into

The hardest thing was figuring out what to build, I just ran out of ideas at the start of the competition and couldn't figure out what to do, luckily after a nap my mind relaxed and decided on working on a rock paper scissors game.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is my first time in a hackathon ever, and I'm proud that I was able to deliver something that works, is fun and showcases my skills.

What we learned

Working with time, As this was my first time in a hackathon I feel like I really did challenge myself and I learned how to work with time, from designing the system to implementation and all the bug fixes along the way, I'm really proud of what I have accomplished. I also think next time I want to work real hard at getting team member as I think with more people this game would have been more awesome and maybe won a few prizes.

What's next for Rock Paper Scissors

I will continue editing the game and would like to turn it into a mobile application as I believe with the simple User interface everyone can find it easy to play this game.
