Wellness and lifestyle marketplaces are full of inflated pricing and unverifiable ethical claims. RoBoYogi started from a simple question: what if buyers could see the true cost breakdown behind every product — supplier margin, platform fee, and impact contribution — instead of just a price tag? Built under Yogaloka Foundation, a not-for-profit apex, RoBoYogi is designed to prove that honest pricing and conscious commerce can actually work as a business model.

What it does RoBoYogi is a conscious-living marketplace connecting verified ethical suppliers with buyers across wellness, lifestyle, and food categories, powered by a "True Price" model — every listing breaks down exactly where the money goes. For AABW, we built the agentic layer: AI agents that match buyers to verified suppliers based on stated values and needs, and enforce True Price transparency automatically at the point of listing rather than relying on manual review.

How we built it We built for the Retail track since that's where RoboYogi's real stack lives, not for badge collection. The core is a set of coordinating agents: one handles supplier onboarding and verification checks against True Price criteria, another handles buyer-side matching by reading stated preferences and surfacing relevant verified suppliers, and a third enforces pricing transparency by validating that the commission breakdown (ambassador, operations, trust contribution) is correctly attached to every listing before it goes live. Agents communicate through a shared verification and pricing pipeline so no listing can bypass the True Price check.

Challenges we ran into Verification credibility at launch was the hardest problem — how do you make "verified supplier" mean something before you have a track record to point to? We also had to be disciplined about track selection: it would've been easy to bolt on an AWS/Bedrock integration for an extra badge, but RoboYogi doesn't genuinely run on that stack, so we skipped it and stuck to Retail, where the build is honest.

Accomplishments that we're proud of Getting agents to actually enforce pricing transparency programmatically — not just display a static breakdown, but validate it as a gate before a listing can publish. Just as importantly, staying honest about scope throughout: no fake integrations, no inflated numbers, no opportunistic track selection, even when it would've made the submission look bigger.

What we learned Trust in a marketplace can't be bolted on after the fact — it has to be a structural constraint the agents enforce at every step, not a policy buyers just have to take on faith. Building the verification and pricing-transparency logic directly into the agent pipeline, rather than as a manual review layer, taught us that "honest commerce" is really a systems design problem, not just a values statement.

What's next for RoboYogi Deepening supplier verification, rolling out the Buyer Ambassador Program (Seed/Root/Branch/Yogi tiers), and scaling the agentic matching and verification layer as the marketplace expands across Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan — with Vietnam under consideration next.
