Inspiration
Wanting to experiment with natural hand movements. Chess was a game that everyone understands, and has simple grab and release mechanics.
How it works
Uses hand tracking from the Leap Motion to allow the player to pick up chess pieces in the game.
Challenges I ran into
Getting the chess AI correct. I used a free AI, and had to get it to interface properly with my Leap Motion code, as well as allowing for some slight rule changes I made.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Became a default game for the Leap Motion, over 150k downloads
