Robo Star makes use of the existing NDNC Registry and a proposed new service callback function (*7626 or *ROBO) which would be similar to the existing *69 callback where the homeowner having received an unwanted call, can initiate the callback to the system and give access to the last call received.
If the caller is a known telemarketer, the homeowner is on the Registry, system administrators can be automatically notified of the violation, and proceedings can be initiated against the offender.
