Mobile phone applications, provided by each vendor and rolled out on their prescribed schedule in conjunction with FTC guidelines, will allow unique customers to identify a RoboCaller. Mobile users, via a button, can immediately lockout the RoboCaller, and the caller information is downloaded and populated in a network provider database. When an FTC agreed upon threshold of unique Robocaller complaints is reached, the Robocaller phone# is blocked out for everyone subscribed to this network provider. Landline users are given a new keystroke *7676 (*ROBO) to achieve the same database update. At some FTC pre-designated future date, all network providers will share their offender data with each other, much like banks share information, or other regulated entities. This information will adhere to a new standard ANSI format for RoboCall blocking. The system is designed to be self administrating requiring minimal involvement from the FTC.
